Design and Implementation of Low-Cost Smart Home System with Sensor Multiplexing

In the general smart home, system is an add-on to home automation and of systems guarantees human comforts like lighting, heating, ventilation, security. this proposed work, we have designed implemented a low-cost using sensor multiplexing technique which extendable, cheap, multi-faceted supported Node MCU (ESP8266). The sensors are used in detect various flammable gases with help MQ-6 (LPG), MQ-7 (CO), MQ-135 (CO2) environment parameters temperature humidity DHT11 sensor, finally intruder passive infrared rays (PIR) sensors. All sensors' information measure at same time upload it IoT cloud (Ubidots) platform, any that exceeds its threshold value indicates alert message on LCD piezo-buzzer alerts form beep sounds surrounding areas. major development comprehend most appliances use Wi-Fi for remote observance. Technological progress has increased implementation leading improved standards living. Industrial still unaffordable enormous center social class families. However, emergence microcontroller boards, just (ESP8266), enabled cheap efficient systems.
